Posting from Windows Phone 8.1 GDR1. Pictures get posted. Icons work. No longer do we have to guess which character is link, picture or HTML.

It's probably more Microsoft's doing than Kinja's. They've done quite a lot of IE rendering engine enhancements with the GDR1 update.

True dat. IE11 now handles non-standard code, which is probably why a lot of Kinja works.
